Ravaniyat is a home built by Ravan Khan for the peace of his soul, where he can freely do everything he wants to do, say everything he wants to say, and write everything he wants to  write. In life, when did one believe that it is very beautiful, and then when, why, and how did one have to deny this belief? Those desires, for which one used to yearn desperately to achieve, why did one have to leave them after attaining them? What was that journey, what is its story? Why did one enter the mosque, why did one have to leave the faith? Those memories of times when it felt like if this happens, it must happen this way. Those thoughts, those emotions, those desires—all remained locked inside a box, struggling to come out, writhing restlessly.

 When holding them back became impossible and no path could be found, then he created a place for himself where he is free. Where there is no fear, no walls, nor the fatigue of trying and failing. Whatever he wants, he can do. Whatever he wants to say, he can say. That itself is Ravaniyat. The soul of Ravan Khan is not the only one in pain, nor is sorrow his alone. It is not that what happened, happened only to him. Here, it is the story of everyone. Whatever lies within people is trapped, suffocating somewhere in a box, writhing, struggling, restless, but unable to come out. It tries a lot, it is helpless to the point that it cannot die.
